I have been there and understand how it feels to get to the point of just giving up. This is why Abundant Life Project was created.
Are you a caregiver finding yourself on the verge of burnout?
Christ calls you to care for others, but it can sometimes feel overwhelming as you take on the burdens of their trauma and stress.

Last night I found myself in a wild game of imaginary stick play with my six-year-old grandson, Charlie. Bored on a walk, he picked up two sticks and invited me to play. Initially the sticks were swords, but soon they became guns and bomb droppers (he is a boy!). They could shoot fire and ice, even! These sticks were doing all these things to fight the bad guys, and with each form of weaponry came a different sound. So, Charlie and I walked through the neighborhood in an imaginary world, making silly sounds and waving sticks. I was on top of the world!
I'm Stacey
I am an ordained pastor in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Since my ordination in 1998, I have served God’s people (and all people are God’s people!) in large churches, small churches, traditional settings and ecumenical settings. My passion is to meet people where they are, to journey alongside of, and to share the love and grace of God.
I am also a certified trauma and resilience life coach, earning this certification in 2022 through the Arizona Trauma Institute. This learning has proved invaluable as I serve those who carry trauma and secondary trauma both inside and outside the church.
